Webworks.Com Announces Roundup Conference

Leading Publishing Platform Software Developer Holds User Conference in Historic Downtown Austin, Texas, in November

AUSTIN, Texas — October 04, 2007 — WebWorks.com, a brand of Quadralay Corporation, the leading developer of publishing platform solutions for single-source delivery of online content, today announced that due to demand from the fast-growing ePublisher user community, it will be holding RoundUp 2007, the WebWorks conference, in Austin, Texas, on November 5 and 6, 2007.

The conference will feature keynote sessions, a WebWorks Roundtable event and two tracks, one devoted to User Case Studies and a second covering ePublisher and WebWorks-specific topics.

Speakers from companies such as Accu-Med, Apex, Quest, Unica, and Xerox will speak on a variety of subjects, including:

  • Benefits of single sourcing
  • Controlling help-specific features
  • Customizing skins
  • Localization
  • Meeting new industry standards
  • Merging structured and unstructured content into an online deliverable

The second day of the conference will start with a special presentation by The Content Wrangler himself, Scott Abel, on the impact of Web 2.0 technologies on technical communications.

WebWorks partner companies such as Adobe, Bright Path Solutions, nSight, Vasont, and XyEnterprise will also be represented at the event.

RoundUp 2007 will be held at the historic Intercontinental Stephen F. Austin hotel right in downtown Austin, Texas, and include two days of networking, product knowledge, and some of the good old-fashioned fun that can be found in the Live Music Capital of the World. To kick off the event WebWorks.com will be hosting a reception on the evening of Sunday, November 4.
